Motivation, or lack thereof

I stayed home from school today to clean my house. Bubby's been at preschool for almost two hours, and here I sit upon my lazy ass. So bad! I just can't wake up today...

Fug Thursday

OK, I'm fugging a house. Kami, I hope this is OK, because I just immediately thought of Fug Thursday when I saw this. From left to right... Bedraggled stuffed Halloween characters on the bench, I took this photo a few days ago, yes in March. Archway askew, complete with dangling stars and Christmas lights, and a blue tarp to protect the walkway? There is an Italian flag on the front door, and in the top of that right window we see a hot pink swag. You can't tell in the picture, but I promise you that swag was plastic. WTF??? OH, and the house is trimmed in burnt orange. OK, I understand, it's a Longhorn thing, right?? The whole thing just has me downright befuddled, I tell ya.

Hooray for March Madness!

John just won his office bracket. We don't watch basketball. He made some educated guesses, but mostly picked LSU just because we're LSU football fans. Nice!

RENT

Haven't seen the musical, but finally saw the movie last night, all by myself, next to a snoozing Bubby. What a way to watch a movie! So now anyway I'm addicted. Better late than never right?

White Chocolate Desperation - UPDATED

Evan ran across a bag of white chocolate chips, so I said we'd bake tonight. I'm making these. And how about those Desperate Housewives?? Those writers just absolutely rock - I was falling off my sofa when Susan, Mike and Dr. Ron "crossed paths". And Brie? What a mess! Update - HOLY MAGOLEY these "brownies" are phenomenal!

Weekend!

It was a busy one. Yesterday, Evan had a soccer game, and then we headed out to Inks Lake with friends. It was really nice! I'd drive out there again to camp, but not worth the drive just for a few hours, especially when you can't drive very well at night, like moi.
